While walking in downtown Mexico City, I had the privilege to witness the timeless beauty on one of the many stone clad colonial buildings, becoming awash with the last gleaming rays of the sun, highlighting an endless array of textures and shapes, which otherwise would have been concealed to the bare eye. It was a joy to see the symphony of shapes and tones of ocher suddenly coming alive. I felt the urge to immortalize this scene on watercolor in order to have the joy of sharing it with you my friends.
